Correctional LMSW
Job Description
BOS Medical Staffing is looking for a Licensed Masters Social Worker to work in a correctional Facility in the Metro Atlanta Area. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast paced correctional setting, has worked in the mental health field before, and is tech savvy in order to meet the documentation requirements set by the facility.
Available Hours: Full-Time hours! 9A-5P Monday-Friday or 6P-12A
Responsibilities:
- Assists in coordinating and implementing counseling services in the jail
- Assists in coordinating and implementing evidence-based programming in the jail
- Keeps records of inmates’ interactions and action plans
- Creates and maintains professional relationship with inmates to better serve them
- Comply with all County Policies, Protocols, and Procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Previous experience in a correctional and mental health setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Knowledge of counseling strategies and safety in correctional settings
- Candidates must pass a criminal background check including an FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Check and Pre-employment drug screen
