Correctional LPN
Job Description
BOS Medical Staffing is searching for a full time LPN with corrections experience to work in a facility located in Lawrenceville, GA.
- Estimated Hours: 36/48 (Full rotation; including rotating weekends)
- Shifts: 7p-7a
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of on site HSA, Mid Level Provider, Physician, or the administrative supervision of the HSC
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical conditions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards

Requirements

- Current, unencumbered nursing license in the state of Georgia
- At least 1 year correctional experience required
- BLS CPR Certification
- Basic computer skills for charting
- Experience using Sapphire for charting preferred
- Ability to work as part of team and multi-task
- Fast-paced correctional settings with exposure to a variety of patient populations
- Requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical demands include standing, walking, and assisting with patient mobility
- Candidates must pass a criminal background check including an FBI Fingerprint Criminal History
- Check and Pre-employment drug screen
