Job Description
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
BOS Medical Staffing is looking for LPNs to work at a busy Acute Care Center. Candidate will need one years relevent experience in the acute care setting. We are looking for candidates to deliver safe, competent and compassionate care in a ACUTE care setting.
Shifts 7p-7a (there could be some 7a-7ps)
Block booking for multiple dates with agency
Same day pay or weekly pay available
w2 Agency
Basic Requirement's
- Alabama LPN license
- Push pull support min 80 lbs
- LPN credentialing packet
Essential Functions
As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

- To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Under the direction of an RN, contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
- Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care. May administer medication. Documents patient care given.
- Assists RN with development of plan of care.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
