Nurse Practitioner
Job Description
BOS Medical Staffing is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to work in an addiction treatment center. Shifts are available immediately.
Desired Shift: DAYS - 8HR: Part time, 20 hours per week with weekends as needed. On-call is the 24 hour period around the day they work (8a-8a)
Required Exp: 1 year as an NP in a clinic or inpatient setting
Preferred Exp: psych and detox experience
Required Certs: Active NH license with DEA credentials or compact license depending on how long it would take to be board approved
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that appropriate laboratory studies have been performed and reviewed, as needed.
- Ensure that a medical evaluation, including a medical history and physical examination, has been performed at admission and annually.
- Completes physical examinations, procedures lab specimens and records the results of the test, presents medical forms for the clinic physician’s evaluation, consultation, and signature.
- Ensure that evidence of current physiologic dependence, length of history of addiction, or exceptions to criteria for admission are documented in the patient's record before the patient receives the initial methadone dose.
- Work with clinical and other medical providers.
- Assists patients in referral services for other medical issues (co-occurring illnesses) and other medical needs.
- Continuous quality improvement (conduct in-service & patient education). Coordinates care with clinical and medical staff.
- Ensures our orders comply with State Regulations and HIPAA Standards.

Chanease holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Georgia. She began her journey with the BOS family in September 2019 as a Front Office Coordinator with BOS Staffing. Later that year, she transitioned to BOS Medical as a Recruiting Specialist. Currently, Chanease holds the position of Senior Staffing Specialist, where she takes charge of leading and organizing our staffing team. Her primary responsibilities involve managing schedules for clients and medical professionals across Georgia, particularly in behavioral health and corrections facilities. Additionally, Chanease leads a team of staffing specialists.
Chanease has completed the Certified Health Care Staffing Professional program, which provides comprehensive training on federal employment and labor laws specific to health care staffing and recruiting professionals. This credential is essential for demonstrating her expertise in working with both employees and clients within the boundaries of federal regulations and laws.
