RN/LPN Nurse Manager
Job Description
BOS Medical is seeking an experienced nurse manager to work in an LTC environment.
Start: ASAP
Shift: M-F 9A-6P
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with Villagers and Villager families regarding all medical care
- Assist the Health Services Administrator in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Health Services department.
- Assist the Health Services Administrator in determining the staffing needs of the Health Service department.
- Initiates Service Plans and supporting activities that will result in best possible outcome for the villagers.
- Maintains and updates all Service Plans and assessments on a bi-annual (at a minimum) or as needed basis and adds/deletes issues as necessary.
- Reviews all incidents and accidents and the 24-hour report daily to ensure prompt follow up and appropriate interventions that are carried through to the Service Plans, or other areas as needed, for assigned villagers to reflect current and changing needs.
- Participate in QAPI or facility assessment activities
- Perform rounds to observe residents and ensure clinical needs are met
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
- Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
- Oversees the Villager’s assigned to Self-Administration of Medication (SAM) program to include assessments and monitoring
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active LPN or RN License and have graduated from an accredited school.
- Requires at least 2 years of nursing experience and have proficient computer skills with working knowledge of programs such a Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Must be able to assume the duties of the Health Services Administrator in his or her absence.
- Two (2) years’ experience working with adults with development disabilities preferred.
- Must meet state requirements regarding a GBI and FBI criminal history record check which requires fingerprinting.
- Must undergo and pass a drug screening and screening for Tuberculosis.

Chanease holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Georgia. She began her journey with the BOS family in September 2019 as a Front Office Coordinator with BOS Staffing. Later that year, she transitioned to BOS Medical as a Recruiting Specialist. Currently, Chanease holds the position of Senior Staffing Specialist, where she takes charge of leading and organizing our staffing team. Her primary responsibilities involve managing schedules for clients and medical professionals across Georgia, particularly in behavioral health and corrections facilities. Additionally, Chanease leads a team of staffing specialists.
Chanease has completed the Certified Health Care Staffing Professional program, which provides comprehensive training on federal employment and labor laws specific to health care staffing and recruiting professionals. This credential is essential for demonstrating her expertise in working with both employees and clients within the boundaries of federal regulations and laws.
